We are happy to invite you to join us for our Good Friday and Easter services. Whether you are new to church or new to Jeff or anywhere in-between, we want you to feel welcome here. That’s why we’ve tried to put together most of the information you might want on one page with easy links to more information. We believe that Jesus is who he says he is, and we trust him when he says things like, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) We want you to know what that life in Christ is like, and that’s why we want to welcome you to The Fields. Please feel free to email email@example.com if you have any questions. We hope to meet you!
Rolling Fields will gather together on Good Friday at 6:30 PM for worship and to hear the story of Jesus that makes it Good Friday. We will not have any nursery or child care during the service but want to encourage you to worship together with your whole family. We will have activity packets and crayons available for small children, but know that we won’t be bothered by your child being wiggly, we are happy for them to be in our service!
We will have our Easter service at our normal time, 10:45 AM and will have our normal nursery available for children birth – 3 Year Olds during the service. We also have a Children’s Church for 4 – 5 Year Olds that takes place during the sermon. We provide activity packets and crayons for children 6 and over.
Rolling Fields was planted in 1954 in the heart of Jeffersonville with the hope of spreading the gospel throughout Southeastern Indiana. Rolling Fields is an elders-led, deacon-supported, congregational church. In other words the church is governed by the congregation, led by an elder team who are released by servant deacons to devote themselves to the ministry of the Word and prayer.
Our small groups are where we experience community in the church and apply the gospel to our specific circumstances. Our small groups meet at different times and locations, and are based solely on location not age or stage of life. We encourage everyone in our church to be actively involved in a group. Email firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions or to find out about joining a small group.
At Rolling Fields, we believe that it’s important for the church to be committed to one another and one way we do that is through Church membership. We take church membership seriously (here are a few thoughts on why Church membership matters) but because we believe in its value, we want to encourage you to pursue it for the benefit of the church and your family.
